For some couples, the creative process of putting together your first dance once you hit Module 5 is the most fun part. But for others, it is quite daunting and just feels like it takes so much time and energy. If that's you...the Done-For-You Option is here to give you RELIEF!!
You'll tell us a bit about what your goals and desires for your first dance on your Order Form so I can truly customize your first dance to the unique needs of you and your special day.
How It Works
1) Purchase Your Add-On for the Done-For-You Pattern 2) After you complete your purchase, you will receive a pdf download that links to the Order Form. Complete the Order Form so I have the proper information to complete your pattern and customize it to your needs. 3) You will receive your Pattern: 'Ingredients'/elements matched with the cues from the song to do them on and lined up musically; 'cue words' in case you need extra prep time while dancing; recommendations on how to break up your sections for the Practicing Portion of building your pattern into your muscle memory. I will send your item to the email provided on your order form. I try to deliver within a few days but allow up to 7-10 days. Once you receive your pattern, you will jump into Part 2 of Module 5 Practicing to begin programming your pattern into your muscle memory and go through the Practice Process to learn the whole dance!

I've been teaching partner dance and working in the wedding industry for over 20 years (literally where does the time go). I love working with total beginners and wedding couples. My training and academic background in partner dance, music, education and psychology all combined to inform my teaching methodology and choreographic processes. These methods and processes are all designed to maximize the success and comfort of adults learning movement and skills that are new to them. They center around couples feeling connected and working as a team which allows for way more comfort and confidence in dancing. Dancing doesn't have to be complicated and I believe its crucial that social dance skills be simplified so folks feel that dancing is not out of reach for them.
